  • This chair set was made by the well-respected manufacturer Thomasville in the late 1970s, early 1980s. It was discontinued in the mid-1980s. Constructed of solid walnut, the set consists two armchairs and four side chairs. All six chairs have tightly wove cane backs, with crest rails of walnut burlwood. The forelegs are each chair are done in a classic trumpet leg design, with French Provincial flare, with the back legs in the simpler, but not less elegant saber. The ivy green chair seats are upholstered in textured cotton sateen damask and are original to the chairs. This set is in quite good shape - the upholstery is in good repair, with no visible stains or tears and the wood shows a minimal amount of wear on the back, legs, and feet. The arm chairs measure 41 1/2" tall, 22" wide (at their broadest point), 18" deep and the side chairs are 41 1/2" tall, 19" wide (at their broadest point), and 18" deep. Both chairs have a seat height of 19" high. Please consult images, and message with any questions.
