This adorable little sugar bowl was made in the US from high quality stoneware and glazed in a creamy crackle slip glaze. The pine bough and pine cone featured on the front of the bowl are hand painted and are beautiful in the simplicity. The bowl is deep, with a slightly elevated foot, and the lid rests inside the rim easily, to prevent spillage. The lid is an especially attractive feature with its press-button finial that helps to prevent the lid from rolling off the table during use. Together bowl and lid measure 5 1/2" high and 4 7/8" in diameter, weighing slightly less than a pound. This piece is in good condition but does show some minor signs of wear from age and use. The bottom is faintly scuffed and there is a small chip on the bowl rim. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
