This vintage set of wicker nested cases was manufactured in India. The wicker has been dyed a medium brown and there are a total of three pieces in this set. 
The largest case that holds the other two. It measures 18" long, 12" wide, 8" deep. It has a leather and brass latch closure and the hinges are woven natural rattan. It is not lined but does have a handle on each side of the case that can be held separately or together.
The second case is smaller and rectangular. It measures 10" long, 8" wide, 5"deep. It also has a leather and brass latch closure but also has leather and brass hinges, as the original hinges had to be replaced. This piece is also unlined and posses a double handle in rattan. 
The smallest case is kidney-shaped and has been lined in brilliant fuchsia cotton fabric. It is a darker shade than the other two and still has the original rattan hinges. It also has the same style leather and brass latch as its set mates. It measures 10" long, 6" wide, 5" deep. 
This set is in good overall condition but some of the wicker shows signs of wear along the bottoms and edges. The smaller rectangular basket has had its hinges repaired with leather. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
