This highly unusual chair set is made of solid teak wood, hand-cut, hand-carved, and hand-assembled. There are saw and chisel marks on the tapered seat and on the stylized woven leaf design on the bifurcated back splat. There are no stretchers and all four legs of each chair have solid, squared feet. While these chairs are incredibly sturdy, they do have some scuffs and snicks on the edges of their seats, backs, and legs, though nothing beyond that caused by daily use.  They measure 45" high, 19 1/4" wide (at their widest point), 20" deep,. They have a seat height of 18" and weigh approximately 30 lbs each. Please consult images, and message with any questions.
