This vintage piece was manufactured by Kindel Furniture Company, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, sometime in the 1940s. Done in the classic Chippendale style, it is made of solid mahogany with a block front face and waterfall edges on the block cut surface. It also features double, heavy brass batwing and bail pulls on all four of its full-width drawers, as well as solid brass escutcheon and locks. The drawers all feature dovetail joinery throughout and the top two drawers are divided by removable slides. All four feet are traditional bracket feet and there is currently a key available for this piece. It measures 37 1/4" high, 42" wide, 22" deep, and weighs between 150-175 lbs. This piece is in very good condition, showing very little signs of wear from age and use. There are some minor scuffs and marks on the edges and on the feet, but al lare typical of an item of this age and type. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
