  • This vintage two piece china cabinet and buffet was produced sometime in the late 1980s by a mid-market manufacturer. Made from heavy white oak, the piece is done in a heavy, traditional style with cornice and base moldings, incised floral designs on the two outward-opening cabinet doors, and antiqued brass door loop and dangle pulls. The top section feature three glassed panels. The central panel is stationary while the left and right panels open to the interior which holds two long glass shelves. The back interior wall is completely mirrored and a single recessed light illuminates the piece from within. the cord for the light is threaded through a discrete hole in the ceiling and extends down the back of the cabinet. The bottom section is more dramatically shaped that its sister piece. The top and bottom corners on both sides are offset and create a sharply geometric silhouette. There are two cupboards completing the hutch. The largest has a pair of outward-opening double doors and has two removable and adjustable shelves. The second, smaller cupboard has one removable and adjustable shelf. It also opens outward. In total, the piece measures 78" high, 54" long, and 22" deep. Separately, the upper cabinet measures 48" high, 53" wide, and 18" deep while the lower hutch measures 30" high, 54" wide, and 20" deep. Each section weighs approximately 175 lbs. This piece is in good condition but does show minor signs of wear from both age and use. Please consult images and message with any questions.
