This vintage rug was hand-woven in the Hamadan style with an 100% cotton warp and wool weft. The central design shows several delicate floral and foliate images in medallion arrangements down the center of the piece and multi-colored geometric designs making up the border. Everything has been placed on a deep garnet red field and outlined in ink-black. The piece bears an original tag on one of corners with the item number, design, and type. The pieces measures 96" long, 100" with the fringe, 30" wide, with a 17mm pile thickness. This item is in good condition but does show signs of wear from age and use to the fringe and pile of the rug, with some fraying on the edges..
