This vintage game or card table was manufactured sometime in the 1940s and then restored in the 1970s-1980s. Rough-hewn and hand-assembled, the cherry wood table features lovely molded edges, a pair of drawers on alternating sides of the table, brass hardware, and beautifully reeded legs in the Sheraton style. The faux leather top is made of thin vinyl over a thin foam cushion. The newest addition to the piece from its restoration, the top shows signs of damage from wear and UV exposure. There is also a sign of wood caulk in one joint, probably to fill a rough burl hole. Both drawers show wide dovetail joinery and all four feet have wooden pads on their bottoms to protect the floor and the table. The piece measures 30" high, 32" wide, 32" deep and weighs approximately 25 - 30 lbs. Overall, this item is in fair to good condition but, again, there are signs of wear to the faux leather top but only minimal signs of wear on the wood itself.
