  • This sturdy little vintage table is adorable and multi-purpose. Produced around the late 1970s, this table features four short cabriole legs, which appear to hold four, large "leather bound" volumes. The "books" are highly detailed with the ridged "covers" overhanging yellow-painted pages and gold-painted details on the spines detailing the volume numbers. The top of the very first volume shows a woman dressed in extravagant period clothing, very similar to that of 18th century France. The top details have been worn by time and use but her lovely dark hair, laced with flowers, is still visible as is the blue of her gown and eyes. She is gracefully holding a branch heavy with blossoms, both still clear.  This "cover" is actually the hinged lid of the storage compartment located within the table. The insides of the table are painted the same brick red as the legs and feet.

This table measures 22" high, 21" wide, and 17" deep. The inner storage compartment measures 9 1/2" long by 16 1/2" wide. The table weighs approximately 10-12 lbs. This little table is a vintage item and does show typical and appropriate signs of wear from age and use. It is structurally sound and the hinges are in great condition. Please consult images and message with any questions.
