This vintage table was manufactured in a small, but modern, woodworking shop sometime after 1960. The walnut is well-aged, having a darker, glossy patina, which puts it at around 30 years old. The piece is an authentic and beautifully rendered reproduction of the American Victorian Eastlake style popular toward the very end of the 19th century. It features a turtle-shaped top with an electorate apron with excised low relief carvings in floral and foliate designs, dramatic cabriole legs with descending into toupie style feet, and a finialed X-stretcher at the center. Thsi pieces measures 29" high, 23 1/2" wide, 18" deep, and it weighs between 8-10 lbs. While everything looks to have been carved with modern saws and tools, this item was custom made and has been excellently cared for. There are signs underneath of some glue on the apron carvings as well as patches over the screw holes. There are the typical but very minor signs of age on the feet and lower legs. But overall this vintage piece is in very good to excellent condition.  Please consult all images and message with any questions.
