  • This vintage bone porcelain dinner plate was manufactured by L. Bernardaud & Co, which is located in Limoges, France. On the base, the maker's mark reads: " B & Co - Limoges, France - 13 - L. Bernardaud & Co. - Limoges." This particular mark was used between 1900 and 1978. The pattern is rare, with few examples available and no known name beyond its pattern number. It matches similar styles produced between 1918 and 1932 so, with this in mind, the estimated date of manufacture would be between 1920 & 1930. It can be described as a marbleized yellow rim with a gold trim surrounding a center floral design. The design sits on an ivory field and is separated from the yellow rim by another ring of gilding. It measures 10" in diameter and has a 1" depth. This piece is in good condition but does show minor signs of wear to the marbleized inner rim.
