This unique set of three chairs are featured in a combination of Louis XIII and Jacobean styles. Farthingale chairs, including this set, were produced during the 20th century Jacobean era, and occasionally displayed heavy Louis XIII influence in the design, as opposed the more Gothic Jacobean construction. Raised on casters, each of these rare chairs are upholstered in a gorgeously aged beige colored chenille with multi-tone hydrangea blossoms throughout. The Louis XIII motif is maintained in the carved acanthus scroll squat back rails, as well as the Neoclassically ornamented straight tapered legs, which feature garlands, laurels, and applied moldings. Each chair measures 35" high, 22" wide, and 22" deep. Please consult all images and message with any questions!
