  • This vintage lamp is a time capsule! Manufactured in the mid to late 1940s, this antique style lamp was made popular again by the release of Gone with the Wind in 1940, especially in the Southern United States. This lamp was made by Hedco, Inc of milk glass, painted with frosted bands of mint and olive green along the tops and bottoms of the both globes. There are also stenciled roses and rose foliage decorating the main globe and the base globe, both of these also feature hand-painted embellishments to the stencils. The base is fashioned from heavy brass and features highly detailed floral designs and four scrolled feet. The top globe is removable and the brass head has one stylized key switch that turns on both the bottom globe and top glob - either together or each by itself. The lamp takes regular 40watt light bulbs for the top socket and 15watt bulbs for the base. The entire piece measures 23" tall and the base is 8" x 8". The main globe has a diameter of 10".
