This handmade throne chair is highly unusual! It features hand cut and shaped bamboo used as the framework and back splats, with screws and leather bands acting as both anchor and supports for the majority of the chair. The tops of the bamboo have been left raw, giving the chair an edgy unfinished vibe.  The seat is cut with a tooth-like edge from wood but layered over with bamboo. There are three tripod "legs", each a single, whole cattle horn, turned outward and polished to a high shine. The chair measures 72"high, 41" wide ( at its broadest point), 30"deep (spread of the feet). The seat is 12" deep and has a seat height of 20". It weighs approximately 30 lbs. This is a handmade, custom item and, as such, shows signs of its creation but overall it is an excellent piece of novelty Americana. Please consult image and message with any questions.
