This vintage Louis XVI style fireplace screen features a mesh screen adorned with love birds flitting among blooming branches, swags of brass "fabric" along the base, and crossed sheaves of wheat ties with ribbon on the crest. The edges are adorned with spiraling foliage and garlands with trifid trestle feet also featuring foliate designs. The brass and mess are beautifully ages and patina'd and all screws holding on the ornaments in place on the mesh are tight and accounted for. This piece measures 26" high, 28" wide, 9" deep (this including the feet,) and weighs between 5 - 10 lbs. This item is in very good good condition but does show some minor signs of wear to the brass feet. please consult all images and message with any questions.
