his pair of carved walnut hall chairs were produced in third quarter 19th century, and feature the classic American Aesthetic Movement detailing throughout the imposing frames.

With an an elaborately beveled, scalloped, an pediment-topped crest rail with a central panel depicting raised rosettes, as well as relieved burl arch panels on a stippled ground, situated between equally ornate finial ears with complementary ornamentation. The tufted backrest flanked by paired fluted columns centered by similarly carved panels, terminate in open scrolled supports that surround the wide and spacious seat.  Raised on a tastefully carved apron, as well as remarkable blocked, beveled, and likewise impressively relieved tapered legs, each of these impressive antique chairs measures 51" high, 24" wide, 21" deep.
