This coffee cocktail table was manufactured within the last decade and half. It features a solid iron base down in a loose Rococo Revival scroll work design and ends in shortened whorl foot. For all the the iron base is impressive, it is the table top that is the main attraction. Measuring 45" wide and 45" long, it features beautifully cut tiles of marble that have been carefully fit together to create a simple double-strand braided motif in pale cream and beige tan on a background of greenish grey. The table has blocked corners and delicately curved sides to echo the Rococo design in the base. It stands 18 1/2" high and weighs approximately 100 lbs. This table is in fair condition, with significant signs of damage to the stone around the edges of the table and slight oxidation at the iron joints.
