This lovely glass candle taper holder was hand-blown by a master craftsman down in Miranda, Venezuela. Still active today, this shop is a prime hub for the art glass business in the region as well as internationally. It is called Arte Murano ICET .This piece is done in individually blown pieces of blue, violet, fuchsia, and clear glass that is then folded around each other to create a rose around the standard-sized taper holder in the center. The tripod feet are clear clear and designed to look like leaves. The piece still has its original sticker and the punt hole is visible on the bottom. It measures 5 1/2" high and 5" in diameter, weighing approximately a pound.This item is in very good condition, showing no signs of wear from age or use.
