  • This antique carpenter's chest was made by hand in the early 20th century, between 1910 & 1930. Made from cherry, it features hand-cut dovetail joints, iron handles and hinges, a brass latch, two tiered, removable tool compartments, a scalloped partition, and molded trim. It has been extensively restored and meticulously maintained. On the bottom, there is evidenced that it once sat on squared or bun feet. It measures 35" long, 17 1/4" high, 17 1/4" deep, and weighs between 30-50 lbs. This piece is in very good antique condition. It does show the typical marks from wear for its age and use, including hammer divots on the lid and staining inside. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
