This modern take on one of Duncan Phyfe's iconic pieces features a two-tier design with a long, single drawer the exact length and breadth of the table top. The table is made from resin-coated wood, to get that even glossy shade of brown. It perfectly matches the thin, elegant overlay of gold-filigreed leather on the top surface and the heavy scrolled iron legs. The legs end in soft-pawed feet and have a small lift to facilitate movement without damaging the surface. The sides of the piece are done in a heavy-textured faux cloth and painted a lighter shade of brown, closer to the leather top in hue. The drawer is done in this same texture and has two iron scroll work pulls that echo the designs of the decorative scroll work accenting the front and back of the piece. The entire table measures 22 1/2" high, 48" long, 26 1/2" deep, and weighs between 100-150 lbs. This item is in good condition but does show signs of character marks from age and consistent use.
