  • This antique flatware set was produced by Rogers & Bros sometime between 1871, when this pattern was first made, and 1877. According to a notation within the case itself, it was owned by an Eleanor Sloan from 1877 to 1908. It is silver-plate and is done in the Persian pattern and features three pieces of silverware: a dinner fork, a butter knife, and an oval soup or dessert spoon. These are placed in a a cream satin-lined case with a clam clasp and holders for each piece of flatware. The butter knife is 7 1/2" long, the fork is 6 1/4" long, and the spoon is 6" long. The case is in fair condition with noticeable signs of wear to the outside and the satin inside is quite fragile and already separating in high-friction areas. This antique flatware set and box are in good antique condition. There is also noticeable tarnishing to the silver. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
