Attributed to R.J. Horner, this turn of the century American dark oak sideboard has a carved crest over a scallop high relief frieze, with the feathered coquille motif scalloping executed throughout the piece. The original beveled mirror back is flanked large blocked supports, which rest on the incredibly heavy breakfront base.  The bowed form server displays the same high relief, with two top drawers and and two bottom drawers featuring heavy cast brass pulls. Situated between the two is a large two door carved cabinet, and the two-piece sideboard terminates in reeded pilasters with splayed feet. Measuring 72 1/2" high, 61" wide, and 24" deep, this remarkable piece is great overall antique condition with some age appropriate signs of wear.
