This 1940s foyer table is made entirely from mahogany and features a lovely parquetry design on the top surface of different colored mahogany and some satinwood. The front and two sides feature a scalloped molded ledge and the front legs done in a gentle cabriole with pad feet. The back edge and legs are blocked and tapered with square feet. The table measures 44" long, 20" wide, 30" high, and weighs approximately 15 - 20 lbs. This piece is in very good condition. It shows only the most minor marks on the feet and lower legs, typical of pieces of its age and use. There is one noticeable mark on the right hand edge and it does show some minor signs of wood damage but this has been treated and repaired.
