This solid cast iron railing is done in the Neoclassical style with curling scroll work, detailed with acanthus leaves and floral motifs over the single post and throughout the panel itself. It features a Y-bracket on the top and bottom railings (for inserting into masonry) and a single post. It measures 53" long, 43" wide, 5" deep (this includes the post,) and weighs approximately 100-150 lbs. This is a single railing in photos. There are several of these, including other designs. This item is in good condition but does show significant signs of wear from age and use. It has been repainted at least twice, with green and white paint visible in several spots. There are signs of oxidation to any of the parts not painted. This panel is part of a larger lot reclaimed from the remodel of a Parisian apartment.
