This antique candy cash register was manufactured by the National Cash Register Company out of Dayton, OH in 1910 but was sold by Empire Madison Scales & Cash Registers Los Angeles, CA. With the serial number 918377, this register is done in a nickel-plated Dolphin design but has lost its original sticker under the drawer that provides all relevant manufacturing details. It still possesses its patent tag. The single drawer works well, as do all of the buttons and flags. The top flag is not original to the piece and was added fairly recently. It would require three keys but only possesses the #1 key required to open the top of the case. The customer counter and profit counter both work and can be reset.  The item measures 21 1/2" high, 10 1/2" wide, and 16" deep. It weighs between 30-50 lbs. This item is in good, working condition. The flag is not original but there is one #1 key. The brass case and wood plinth are in good condition, with only typical signs of wear seen on vintage and antique items.
