This antique curio radio was made in limited numbers by General Electric during the 1930s and 1940s. It features a synchronous clock on top, then a turntable behind a set of double doors, then a K-63 radio. There are also two permanent shelves on the bottom half of the piece that were used to store records. The turntable was removed at some point but the clock and the radio are still intact. There was a switch on the side of the piece that turned on either the turntable or the radio and there are access points for all three spaces from the back and top, respectively. The front of the cabinet is done in the Federal style, featuring mahogany waterfall marquetry, burlwood inlay on the broken arch facade, and bracket feet with apron. The item measures 66 1/2" high, total, and 59" w/o the facade. 18 1/4" wide, 13" deep, and weighs approximately 50 - 75 lbs. This piece is in fair to good condition. The cabinet is in great shape with only minor signs of wear to the wood and finish. As of the time of this posting, neither the clock nor the radio have been tested for functionality as the piece still has its original cord. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
