This Art Furniture style arm chair was produced as part of a larger set some time between 1908-1915. Made from solid rosewood, it bears Neo Greek style decorative features including hand-carved acanthus foliage scroll work across the base of the crest rail, hand-stempled backgrounds, paw feet with casters as well as saber legs with casters on the back, and tight demilune crest rail. This chair was reupholstered sometime in the 1960s with spring green, yellow, and gold fabric. It was also re-sprung. The chair measures 42" high, 26" wide, 29" deep, and has a seat height of 20". It weighs approximately 30-45 lbs. The entire piece is in good condition with only one sign of cosmetic wear on the back of the crest rail. Please consult images and message with questions.
