  • This set of antique Spode/Copeland & Garrett fine china features one serving bowl and a pair salad plates. They were produced sometime between 1833 - 1847 in the Rococo style popular at the time. They are done in pattern 6263 - a cream field with cobalt uppers and scalloped gilt along the edges of the cobalt. It features an ivy and berries gilt motif on the inner rims of the cups and through the cobalt sections on both cups and saucers. Both the rims of the bowl and plates are heavily gilded. Stamped on all items is the Copeland & Garrett mark with a crown and laurels surrounding. The bowl measures 3" high and has a 6 3/4" diameter. The plates are octagonal and measure 1 1/4 " high/deep and are 9 1/4" by 8" 1/4" wide. There are signs of physical wear and all show evidence of slight crazing. There are also some stains to the china. Overall, this antique set is in fair to good condition with signs of both age and use evident on cups and saucers. Please consult images closely and message with any questions.
