These antique Louis XV style chairs were imported from northern France and were manufactured there sometime in the very early twentieth century. They are made of walnut and hand-tooled, darkly-tanned leather. There are floral and foliate motifs with stylized fish across the seats and backs of all the chairs. The legs are connected with elegantly curved stretchers and have fluted legs ending in acorn style feet. There are brass flower head nails holding the leather to the chairs with thes French tag tacked into the bottom of the chairs that reads "marque deposee cuir intachable." They measure 39" high, 18" wide, and 17" deep. They have a chair height of 18" and each chair weighs approximately 6 lbs. All chairs are in good condition, considering their age. There is minimal wear to the legs and feet but the leather shows wear to the corners, seats, and edges. Please consult images and message with any questions.
