This mid 19th century American Gothic, carved dark oak thone chair measures, 59" high, 23" wide, and 22" deep. The pierced and scrolled hand-cut lattice-form back is placed above an individually layered (also hand-cut) lattice oak panel seat. The seat is raised on hand-carved, turned, and tapered baluster legs. With a matching pierced, scalloped front apron, this gorgeous and heavy antique hall chair shows some signs of restoration, but is in beautiful overall condition.
